i saw that people were filling out this questionnaire and I was bored so why not. Might style this page later or it might just go into the graveyard of random plain html pages made on a whim lol

also i am very tired while writing this so excuse my random sarcasm or whatever this is lol

2. How long have you been making websites?: almost a year not including the Google Sites stuff i messed around with in middle school
3. And what got you into the hobby?: adhd hyperfixation turned autistic special interest
4. What kind of website are you most interested in?: depends on the day.
5. What's your workflow? Do you plan your websites out thoroughly or do you come up with the design as you go along?: this page is proof that i have zero plans
6. Please link to your biggest inspirations.: i need to track down some of the first sites i saw and then i will fill this out sometime if i get around to it
7. What's your favourite part about making websites?: a thirst for power
8. And the thing you struggle with the most?: not knowing what in the world i'm even doing
9. Do you keep the same layout on all of your pages? Or do you use different ones?: same layout different color scheme/theme
10. How confident are you with CSS?: no
11. Do you know how to correctly use <dl>?: i don't know how to correctly use half of the non-basic html stuff
12. What is your favourite HTML element?: the element of surprise
13. If you're making a new web page from scratch, what is the first thing you do?: link to 7.css
14. Do you know JavaScript?: i know where to get javascript to do what i want but i can't say i know it

16. Does your website have a theme that you stick to?: converse high tops really the only repetitive motif besides the 7.css lol

25. What text editor do you use?: inbuilt neocities
26. Why do you use that one?: laziness

29. How much server space would you estimate your main website takes up?: apparently i'm at 3.62 GB of bandwidth if that's what you're asking
30. Do you keep local backups of your files?: yes because i have trust issues lol

32. Do you stick to certain colours? Do you do that on purpose, or is it your subconscious?: For some reason i keep coming back to grayscale. It's probably just because it's the easiest to make moodboards out of
33. Have you ever thought about quitting? Why?: sometimes i consider deleting all traces of myself from the internet and then i remember it's all on the wayback machine already so there's no going back now
34. Do you have many webmaster friends, or is it a solitary hobby?: i have some irl friends on here (the ones linked on my homepage)
35. Do people in your real life know about your website?: only those two and whomever they tell^
36. Do you update your website very often? How often is "very often"?: when i'm procrastinating actual responsibilities (so almost daily)
37. And the overall design, do you change that much? Why or why not?: not really. too much work
38. Is your website more you-focused, hobby-focused, or outside world-focused?: i just like making pretty pages and sometimes my hyperfixations seep in lol

42. Some people reject social media and use websites as a replacement. Do you keep social media outside of your website?: no.
43. How about instant messengers? Do you use a mainstream one like Discord or Telegram? Or something like Matrix? Do you avoid them?: i've been using google chat to text my friends for forever at this point; i don't even remember why at this point
44. Do you listen to music while you work on websites? If so, what kinds of artists?: 90s russian pop is my focus music for some reason lol
45. Do you keep everything you make on one website, or do you have more than one?: one website is work enough
46. On a similar note, do you keep to one topic on your site, or many?: i don't stay focused enough on one topic for that to be possible
47. Do you present your real self, or at least try? Or do you construct a persona on purpose?: bold of you to assume i even know what my real self is haha
48. Have you ever made a good friend thanks to your website?: no but i've met a lot of nice people
49. Are you happy with the way HTML and CSS currently work?: yes but i have some beef with javascript
50. What are practices that you think people should avoid?: i'm not your mom lol
51. What about under-utilised practices, or things you think people should do more?: again i'm not your mom
52. Do you use a lot of semantic HTML? Or are you guilty of generic structure?: ...i didn't know semantic html existed until my current site layout way pretty much already established...
53. Do you consider different browsers?: i switched to firefox over the summer for no particular reason
54. Speaking of, what's your preferred browser? Convince your readers why they should use it.: why do i have to have firm opinions on all this stuff
55. And what OS are you on?: windows
56. Do you have a strong opinion on that, or do you just happen to use it?: always used it but i wish it was still windows 7
57. Are your websites mobile-friendly?: depends on the specific page

62. What is your ideal website? Are you striving for that, or for something else?: again it's bold of you to assume i have any kind of plan
63. Are you an artist? Do you draw or design your own assets?: i draw like once every two months and then forget art exists; i wouldn't say i'm terrible though
64. What are your favourite resource sites?: i need to make some kind of directory at some point because i have so many resource sites bookmarked
65. Is there a habit you just can't get away from no matter how hard you try?: finding myself on the weird side of pinterest every time i open it lol
66. What's your biggest advice for a new webmaster?: never give your website up never let your website down never go and run around and desert it

90. Speaking of programs that help you make websites, what do you think of static site generators (SSGs)? Have you ever used one?: no but they seem interesting
91. Do you keep a hitcounter? Why or why not?: i keep a viewcounter just because i think it's interesting

95. Are you embarrassed of your old work? Have you ever deleted everything out of shame?: i can't delete my wattpad account from when i was thirteen but i sincerely wish i could. i just pray that it never sees the light of day lol
96. Would you close down your website if you couldn't update it, or would you leave an archive?: probably just leave it lol. i like random old archived stuff
97. Do you reveal a lot about yourself on your website? Or are you more secretive?: i would rather not get stalked thank you
